Bangalore, 17 April 2025: On 17 April 2025, Archbishop Dr. Peter Machado joined the faithful of Bangalore for the premiere of The Chosen: Last Supper at PVR Koramangala. The event saw a full theatre of clergy, religious, and laypeople, all eager to witness this powerful portrayal of the Last Supper on the big screen.

As a special moment of welcome, PVR Koramangala greeted Archbishop Machado with a warm display, featuring a banner on the cinema screen. This was the Archbishop’s first visit to a mainstream cinema for a faith-based screening, marking a significant and meaningful occasion.
After the screening, Archbishop Machado shared his thoughts with the audience:
