The Booth Level Officer (BLO) team, led by Ms. Latha Shankar of Ward No. 63, Jayamahal Extension, visited the Archbishop’s House, Bengaluru, and completed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) registration formalities.
Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore, completed the registration process by signing the requisite documents, highlighting the importance of responsible citizenship and active participation in democratic processes. Through this gesture, the Archbishop set an example and encouraged every eligible citizen to take the necessary steps to ensure their registration.

The Archdiocese of Bangalore earnestly appeals to the entire Christian community to verify and complete their registration formalities without delay. Every eligible person matters, and no individual should be left behind due to lack of awareness, guidance, or assistance. Participation in such civic processes reflects our shared responsibility towards society and the nation.

A special appeal is made to the youth, parish communities, volunteers, lay leaders, and all people of goodwill to come forward and assist those who may face difficulties in completing the process, especially the elderly, the sick, persons with disabilities, and those requiring additional support. This is an opportunity to express our values of service, solidarity, and care for one another.
Let us join hands and ensure that every eligible member of our community is registered. By fulfilling our civic duty with commitment and responsibility, we contribute towards strengthening democratic participation and building a more inclusive society where every voice is valued.
