Hundreds gather at St. Anthony's Church, Kavalbysandra for flag hoisting and Mass.

Over 600 devotees gathered for flag hoisting and mass at St. Antonys Church, Kavalbysandra. Archbishop Rev Peter Machado in his homily spoke about how Zacheus climbed a tree to see Jesus but instead Jesus saw him. "When we have a real yearning to have an encounter with Jesus, he will identify us. St. Antony had a deep and constant yearning for Jesus and that is why his love and bonding with Jesus was so strong" the prelate said. At a short felicitation after mass, Parish Priest Fr Divya Paul presented the Archbishop with a light blue and white Mitre.
