There are moments in a parish when the air itself feels different—warmer, brighter, almost sacred. Kristotsava 2025 was one such breath-taking evening at St. Anthony’s Church, T.C. Palya, where the entire parish family came together not just to celebrate Christmas, but to live it. Under the gentle and inspiring leadership of Rev. Msgr. C. Francis, the parish witnessed an unforgettable celebration filled with colour, harmony, and the unmistakable joy of belonging to one family of faith.

The evening began with a vibrant Christmas Rally, flowing from Don Bosco Community Hall, Anandapura, like a river of light. Beautiful floats, a live crib, Christmas tableaux, carol singers, and little children dressed as angels and shepherds filled the streets with smiles and blessings. Families stood outside their homes, waving, cheering, and receiving the message of hope that Christmas brings.

As the procession reached the church campus, the parish gathered for a heartfelt Christmas cultural program. Every performance—whether by children, youth, or elders—carried the warmth of a family celebrating together. Carols lifted the heart, dances brought joy, and the creative tableaux reminded everyone of the simple glory of Christ’s birth.

In his message, Msgr. C. Francis captured the spirit of the night with deep sincerity:“Kristotsava is not just an event—it is our parish family walking together in the light of Christ. When we celebrate as one, we become messengers of His joy to everyone around us.” He also expressed profound gratitude to all parishioners for their tireless efforts, generosity, and wholehearted participation.“This celebration is possible because of you,” he said. “Your love for the parish makes this truly a family festival.”

Many who attended shared how special and meaningful the celebration felt. One parishioner beautifully said:“ Every year, Kristotsava feels like coming home. It is our tradition of joy, and it brings us closer as one parish family.”
Kristotsava 2025 closed with a gentle reminder of what Christmas truly means:that Christ enters our world not through grandeur, but through hearts that are open, simple, and loving. As the lights dimmed and the echoes of carols faded, one message remained clear—Christmas is a call to carry His peace into our homes, His joy into our families, and His love into the world around us.
