"Shabbat Dinner", Consul General of Israel invite Archbishop.

Bangalore: "Shabbat dinner" is one of the most important rituals of many Israeli families. Israeli Chef, Keren Agam, baked the special Shabbat bread - "Challa".

Around 30 very important officials were invited. Entire program was organised by the team members of Israelite Consulate for south India. During the dinner Archbishop thanked Ms. Dana the Consul General of Israel to South India and the other members of the team. He said the Jewish aspect of taking meal (Shabbat Dinner) together is the symbol of unity which brings the family members under one umbrella. Ms Dana and her team members explained the Jewish Shabbat and it's importance, during the dinner. All were happy to experience the Jewish religious tradition, culture and custom. Hebrew hymns were also played during dinner. Some guests also shared their happy experiences of being part of the Shabbat dinner.
