Bangalore, March 9, 2025 – The youth of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral came together for a spiritually enriching experience on Sunday as they participated in the Way of the Cross, Adoration, and Confession under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Arockiaswamy, Rector and Parish Priest. The event, organized by the Cathedral Youth for Christ, was a heartfelt invitation to young people to deepen their faith and encounter God in a profound way.
The program commenced at 11:00 am, beginning with the Way of the Cross, where the youth reflected on Christ’s passion and sacrifice. This was followed by a powerful session of Eucharistic Adoration, during which participants experienced moments of deep prayer and surrender. The event concluded with the Sacrament of Confession, allowing the youth to receive God’s mercy and grace.
Speaking about the event, Fr. Arockiaswamy expressed his joy in witnessing the youth’s eagerness to grow spiritually. “It is truly inspiring to see our young people seeking God with such fervor. Their participation today is a reminder that the future of the Church is in good hands,” he said.
Fr. Alwyn, Assistant Parish Priest, emphasized the significance of the gathering, stating, “Events like these help strengthen the faith of our youth. Today, we saw young hearts being transformed by the power of prayer and the sacraments.” One of the participating youth members, described her experience, saying, “I felt an overwhelming peace during Adoration. It was as if God was personally speaking to me. This experience has renewed my faith and given me a fresh perspective on my spiritual journey.”
