KGF Deanery Youth Leaders Meet

Youth Leaders Training program at KGF deanery was held in St. Joseph’s Church, Susaipalyam on 19th September 2021. All the eight parishes of KGF deanery sent their youth leaders for the programme. Total of 45 youth leaders attended the programme..

The program began by the Mass where Fr. Sampath was the main celebrant. Fr. Francline preached the homily. After the Mass the deanery youth leaders from eight parishes gathered in the Parish hall for the program. Fr Ananda Xavier, the deanery youth coordinator animated the program. It began with the prayer and lighting of the lamp. Rev.Fr. Dr. Susairaj the dean, presided over the function along with Fr Anil D’sa the youth director of the Bangalore archdiocese, Sr Anjeline SCB the Lady youth animator, Fr Sampath, Mr Nevin the Diocesan Executive Committee member, Fr. Sabastian, the parish priest, Mr John Belson the local youth president and Miss Aishwarya

Interactive and activity based sessions on Need of Youth Groups, Dynamics of Indian Catholic Youth Movement and other sessions were conducted by the Yuva Chethana Team the youth commission of the Archdiocese of Bangalore. Miss Aishwarya shared her experience of serving the covid patients in the hospitals.

Formation of a core team for the deanery was one of the priorities of the program. Thus the each parish appointed a representative to be in the core group and from there the office bearers were elected.

The youth were happy and greatly appreciated the training program. As they expressing their gratitude the young people assured of their active and whole hearted cooperation for forth coming activities.

Fr Anil D’sa expressed his gratitude to Rev Fr Susairaj the dean, Fr Sabastian, the parish priest and Fr. Ananda Xavier for seeing to every details and hosting the leaders’ meet in his deanery. Participation of youth leaders from every parish of the deanery was commendable.

The youth meet came to an end with a group photo and solemn lunch sponsored by the Rev. Fr. Sabastian the parish priest.
